Your body is not broken

The body is responding to its environment.

Unfortunately for many of us, our daily inputs have left us depleted, stressed, out of touch with our bodies, and wondering if this is all there is. Nursing care has long understood the importance of creating an environment that supports the body in healing.

about Kelsey

I started my nursing career in 2011, within six months I could not deny that our current medical model was neither creating nor supporting health, but instead was focused on managing symptoms.  I noticed that many people’s emergencies had origins many years prior.  I became convinced that there had to be a better way.  I chose to pursue a doctorate in nursing practice so I could have more options in helping people.

Along with that education, I also jumped into the world of functional medicine.  A practice style that believes in addressing the cause of the dysfunction rather than silencing the symptoms.

The more I learn about the human body, the more I am in wonder.  The body is innately intelligent and designed to heal itself. I want to help people discover health that is rooted in resilience, freedom, joy, and abundance.

Choose Curiosity, square.png

the philosophy

This journey towards health requires an approach of curiosity. What works for one person will not work for every person. The goal is to combine my knowledge of the human body, strategies backed by scientific research, and your lived experience.
