    Minerals have been referred to as the “spark plugs” of the body, generating a chemical reaction that sets in motion the rest of our physiology. The standard Western lifestyle and environment create an imbalanced mineral state. Overtime, the imbalance contributes to dysfunction in our cells, tissues, and organs.

  • gut health

    Hippocrates, known as the father of medicine, stated “all disease begins in the gut”. Functional medicine believes that the reverse is true as well: health begins in the gut. The gut lining is a mere one cell layer thick and is the interface between the outside environment and the internal body. When this lining is damaged, the body is vulnerable to insults. Multiple research studies have recognized the connection between gut health and mood, skin health, energy, inflammation, and immune function. By supporting this barrier, the body is able to come into balance.

  • nutrition

    What we eat each day is fueling our life. While there is a lot of information and opinions available, there is no One Size Fits All approach. We will work together to find what foods you tolerate best, a supportive eating frequency, and macronutrient ratio.

the method

Integrate mineral and nutrition support, circadian rhythm entrianment, and gut support to create an environment that supports healing.

We will start with an extensive questionnaire to understand your story, history, and goals.  Then we will meet for the initial consultation, lasting an hour. Based on your background and goals, initial behavior modification recommendations will be made. After implementing the lifestyle aspect first, laboratory tests will be ordered to better understand your unique nutrient gaps and health state.  Following your lab results, we will meet for an hour to collaborate on steps towards your health goals.
